Combining a degree in mathematics with an inquisitive mind and a lifelong passion for technology has made Ian a versatile and effective data marketing analyst. With 13 years in the database marketing industry he has experience in all aspects of data management, reporting, mining and modelling.
 
Ian honed his data management and CRM warehousing skills working with clients such as The Daily Telegraph and British Gas. Ian has gone on to work across a wide range of industry sectors developing propensity models, behavioural segmentations, campaign analyses and management information for clients including; BT, Argos, Sportingbet, Aviva, Boots, LOVEFiLM, IKEA, BOC, Anglian Water and CSMA Club. He is particularly skilled in working with large online transactional databases, but is equally at home dissecting smaller customer survey datasets.
 
Ian is currently the Head of Analysis at Quant Marketing, having joined in October 2009. Dedicated to the production of accurate, high quality analyses he believes that truly understanding the business problem at hand is imperative in the production of actionable customer insight that can drive incremental benefit to customers and business alike.
